The 7th Annual Great American Barbeque and Beer Festival returns to Chandler, AZ on Saturday, March 19, 2016! This Chandler BBQ Festival is one to certainly not miss if you’re a major BBQ lover.
This is Arizona’s largest BBQ event and features live entertainment, an all-ages kid zone, motorcycle show and naturally, plenty of BBQ provided by over 60 of Arizona’s best BBQ restaurants and competitve BBQ teams. 20,000 – that’s the number of pounds of mouth-watering ribs, pulled pork, brisket and chicken that will be served up, paired with plenty of beer from local Arizona craft breweries.
For 2016, the downtown Chandler BBQ festival is hosting Granger Smith as the headlining band, with several other supporting acts.
I’ve attended this festival for the past 2 out of 3 years (was out of town that one year) and I can honestly say this is the best BBQ festival Arizona has to offer up. It draws notable pitmasters from all around the state, the lines aren’t horrible because the event is frankly so large, you can always find a slow vendor looking to talk about their BBQ and give you a few samples. The ticket price is the same as what a typical movie would cost you, so it’s certainly worth the trip out there to check it out.
Just pray it isn’t hitting over 100 degrees in March.
